Selecting a bed for childrens bedroom is a difficult task considering the many styles available. Also you need to consider the size of the room and the number of bedrooms in your home. Such additions are useful when there are space issues.
Having decided to buy a bunk bed, check if it is sturdy by placing your hand on top bed and shaking the whole bed to check if there is any movement. Make sure you get child friendly bunks. Dont buy bunks with no railings on the top. And make sure they have good solid stairs. Also don’t get bunks with corner posts that stick up above the railing, kids can catch things on them and fall, or hang off them, which is not good. The best bunk bed to consider would be a full bed on the bottom and a twin bed on top. The wider bed below would create a better balance. Also, consider buying bunk beds that can be separated, because as the children grow older, the beds will be still useful. They can be used as individual beds.
