What is the age requirement for alcohol on cruises?

I am going on a cruise this summer with my parents and one of my friends. My friend and I will both be 18 by time we go on the cruise. Is it true that 18 year olds are no longer allowed to drink alcohol on a caribbean cruise, even with parent permission? Oh and if it helps we are going on Celebrity Cruise Line.
