What is the cheapest places online to find cruises?

weltall900 asked:

I wanna go on a cruise THIS JULY….so maybe I can take advantage of the Last Minute thing. I live in South Florida, so any departure ports in Florida will work for me.

Try Skyauction.com see what they offer. Then do a little research there are some very different cruise lines. You know what you like different cruise lines may be better suited to your taste. Some cruise lines cater to different life styles . Some cruise lines have better food. Some cruise lines have nicer cabins some have larger cabins.Get an outside cabin. However you should find something you like on any cruise. If this is your first cruise do it you’ll enjoy it.

I have always used Vacationstogo.com they are specifically for last minute travels. As it get closer to the dates the rooms go down in price. If you don’t know alot about cruising they let you enter the things you are interested in. The newest ships from Royal Caribbean are awesome, they offer a mock surfing experience, huge rock climbing wall, bungie jumping from the side of the ship, a mall, coffee shops etc. If you are looking for more of a party boat then try Carnival, and if you are looking for a very relaxed no hustle or bustle trip try NCL. I’ve always like Royal becuase there is something for everyone, not just strickly partying (they have an awesome club called the dungeon through!!) or relaxing!

Also, Vacationstogo also sends a weekly newsletter with all the cruise lines and the prices they are at. I’ve booked 2 cruises through them already and have had excellent luck. You can get a much better price on a cruise if you wait till the last minute, the only problem is you have no say in where your room will be at. But, as I always say, with some of the ships as big as they are, offering so many amenities, you don’t spend much time in the room anyway.

Have fun!

Call Carnival directly. That is what I always do, and they get me great deal. Be advised though that last minute deals in July are almost nonexistent. The ships are almost always full for that season. My vacation planner at Carnival told me that he was not even able to take his two “free” cruises a year that he gets as a benefit because there was no available room on the ships for the summer.
