It’s only mid-season south of the Equator and they are probably still golfing south of 30° North latitude.

Having a game this morning, although its 3 below just now (West of Scotland). We have a winter season with a shortened course because of some winter greens being put on, but thankfully we have a new greens convenor and he sees no need for winter greens, so long as we repair our pitch marks and that there is not too bad a frost.

Golf in the snow?
Maybe change to Fluro Pink golf balls to find them easier

Otherwise, have a golf holiday down under.

it just depends on the location of the golf courses. the pro’s play again on TV in January. Many southern courses are open year round, northern it depends on weather and golf course operations.

I am sure you were referring to TV golf. The funny season ends very soon and the PGA tour will start the month of January. So no more parent- child, Wendy’s shootout, or skill shot format but golf. We viewers will be restricted if we do not subscribe to the Golf Channel .That will diminish the popularity of the sport and sponsors will be reluctant to pony up the big bucks if viewership declines..

The PGA season takes a break during the holidays.
Golf is an all year sport, but it may be too cold to play at some times.
It starts back around during the spring
