Karaoke CDs And DVDs – History Of Karaoke Discs
Karaoke tracks are so much different from the discs that you have been listening to, with your favorite recording artists. The music you hear on the karaoke track, and which you listen to, when you are at the bar or nightclub, is totally different to those ones you buy of the particular artist. Different recording artists, have recorded the same song under a different label, so the sound will be totally different. Even though it could be the same song, each karaoke disc, could sound worlds apart from each other.
Each karaole disc has been manufactured under a certain name, being called CDG, or other times just CD+G. All this makes perfect sense, when you know what these letters stand for. Compact disc with graphics, makes sense as to the meaning. When you have played your music for so long on a CD (compact disc), and then this medium comes along, which adds a totally new and varied change, it is a very good thing. When the graphics are there, the lyrics also come with them and then you have a whole new dimension, to the music you have been enjoying for so long. If you have already needed the words on paper to learn the song, then now you have this visual addition, to make learning that much easier for you. The karaoke machine will display these graphics and lyrics, on your television screen, so you can practice in a more mature setting. Now you have something more than just your CD player.
The technology does not stop there. They are always coming up with new and innovative ideas, to help you to improve on your performance skills. Added to the regular karaoke disc, is now the SCDG, which includes the probability of putting hundreds of songs onto only one disc. Some of the manufacturers are now putting so many discs sets onto only one disc and this means a huge saving for you, the customer, who is wanting to get so many more songs available to them.
When you are at the karaoke bar or nightclub, this is going to help with changing the many different songs on the machine, so much faster and easier for the person running it. The disc jockeys of these establishments, will be so happy about this new system, that has been invented. This makes their job that much more inviting for them, as the time they save will be enormous.
If you are happy with the many discs that you have now, then it probably will not be in your best interest to purchase one of these new SCDGs, but if you are in the music business and it would be advantageous for you to buy one, then that of course is your choice. There are always new dimensions to the music business, new improvements and the average person can not be expected to keep up with all of it.
